David Steelman, Executive Director, announced today that The Yadkin Valley United Fund annual celebration event is set for Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Cedarbrook Country Club. The dinner banquet is to honor the individuals and businesses who donated/ pledged $500 or more, businesses/corporations who encourage and offer payroll deduction, our larger Partner/Agencies, as well as the YVUF Board of Directors.
The 2016 campaign goal was $150,000. So far the actual pledges/donations have exceeded $175,000. Steelman also said that it is never too late to make a donation or increase your existing pledge to the $500+ level for the current year.
