Elkin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7794 invites you to a very special Veterans Day event. VFW Post 7794 will recognize Mark Garner, a local area Afghanistan War Casualty with the changing of the post's name and dedication of a section on the Overmountain Victory Trail in his honor.

Please plan to attend this event rain or shine, on November 11, 2014 at 11 am at the band shell in Elkin Municipal Park.
