Foothills Theatre opens its 46th season with the comedy, "Mama Don't Fly," at First Baptist Church Elkin fellowship hall. With the tagline 3 performances, 2096 long miles and 24 crazy characters, the play stars Tommie Ann Tulbert of Elkin, Kitsey Burns of East Bend, Bailey Atkins of Mount Airy, Judy Deck of Jonesville, Mary Keller of Elkin, David Nielsen of Elkin, Chris Groner of Elkin, Scott Carpenter of Mount Airy, Newell Hauser of Elkin, Christie Harrison of Elkin, and Whitney Sprinkle of Elkin. The play is directed by Leighanne Martin Wright and will be performed at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 and Sat., Feb. 8 and at 2:30 p.m. Sun., Feb. 9. Tickets will be $12 and will include dessert, coffee and tea. Tickets available at the door.
