The Elkin Valley Fiddlers contra dance will kick off the big all-day music festival with dancing and music at 7 p.m. at the Elkin Recreation Center, 399 Hwy 268 W, Elkin. The Zephyr Lightning Bolts will provide the tunes and caller Valerie Helbert will have everyone dancing, even beginners! Suggested donation is $5. All details can be found at http://www.foothillsartscouncil.org.
