Need to bring back the QB club if you want to have better coaching. The club met monthly I think and the coach's attended the meetings. Crap like what is happening now would not keep going on. This is our school, not the AD's, not the principals. We pay these people with our taxes. If the administration will not do anything about it we need to turn up the heat. If no one confronts them we have no one to blame but ourselves.

A new AD! Now there's an idea I could get behind. Mediocrity starts at the top and rolls downhill... WC has a lot of talented athletes, not just in football. If only coaches who are just as talented could be found to pull out the best in these athletes.

Well yes and no..you need to win more than 1 game to keep a job and i dont believe this coach ever made an attempt to get the community behind him

I support them but i dont believe changes will happen unless the coach just leaves.

Guru, my rant is over and I will continue to support the kids however there are changes that need to happen throughout the program. Similar issues that West Wilkes is having now too.

I have to ask this question since i personally did not see it with my own eyes..I was told a certain player from Central was allowed to play after missing practice and also getting in school suspension for 2 days..it was my understanding that if this did happen that it goes against Wilkes County policy. I know other players sat out a game earlier in the year for just a game for having in school suspension. Players play harder for a coach they respect and one whom treats them all fairly.

Keep it real, I try not to bash coaches on social platforms but we have had enough. You are correct. Coach Turner seems like a good guy but he has no buisness being a head coach. You can even go a step forward and say the AD at Central is not qualified. Why Scott Waugh isn't the AD Ill never know. The basketball program is mediocre as well. Way too much talent in the school to be average in the conference.

The person or person's that hired the head coach at WC need to be fired. I know for a fact that way more qualified people applied for the job. This guy may have been a good assistant but he is not a head coach. These kids never have contact in practice and hardly do any conditioning, and the proof is in the results on Friday nights.

I heard the mercy rule was on at halftime. WC threw like three interceptions. Why would you pass in a pouring down rain? That makes a lot of sense.

Very funny. I almost laughed. Don't understand why grown men and women talk smack about football being played by teenagers. That's the real joke. Wizard probably makes 15k a year and buys a 12 pack of Natural Ice every night to reminisce about his days being the high school mascot.

I will bet WC is praying for more rain and storms so their game with Starmount will be moved to next week. That way they can lose two games in one week.
