Based on the passion that hate politics posted with, this seems to be the right place to ask a question that I have always wondered. I am a free market kind of guy and I love to understand different industries, so I am hoping that someone can explain the details of this paying for playing time industry. If you are looking to buy playing time for your kid do you have to have a preseason meeting with the coach where you tell them how much you want your kid to play, and then they send you an invoice. Are the amounts different for different amounts of playing time or different from sport to sport or what? Who do you pay? The coach, Ad, Principal. Can you make installment payments or do you have to pay all at once? Are the payments tax deductible. The reason that I am asking is that I have one child who already graduated and another one that participates now, and I have never got a bill for their playing time. I am really concerned though because I will have grandchildren one day and I don't want them to miss out because I did not know how much I was supposed to pay for their playing time. LOL

@hatepolitics Don't beat around the bush. Which kid are you talking about? The coach probably didn't notice in the heat of the game. Just give a hint of who this person is.

Heard thru the vines. As usual its the politics that West has. Its the MVPs (most valuable parents) that call the shots. Sure every school has it but West is the worst of them all. A kid telling their teammate that they are sorry for not passing them the ball because their dad wont let them. Come on man. Who's playing ? You can d**n well see who paying. So if you are one of these parents. Go to your trophy case not your child. Just stand and count how many you bought and how many they earned. Then go look in the mirror and take a long look. I feel sorry for your kids and grandkids because they haven't a chance other than to turn into a piece of ****** like you. You deserve a big pat on the back. Think about this bud. As you unfold that wallet to pay for little Johnny or little Susie to gather up all those crowns and awards in their high school career to stand and shine brighter than all the rest.
