Who give a crap about JV's by the way I'm a east fan.

Areyouthere I will take 3 out of 4 any day. Sounds like you are happy only winning 25% of the time. Any one who is happy with a 25% wining record must not know much about sports or life. Let me know who your grades in 6th grade work out for you this year.

Have you seen the way the boys varsity basketball coaches at North huddle up and talk before addressing the team during a timeout? It's doesn't have to be a tight game. If you have to do that much thinking about what needs to be done, then there's a problem. Apparently, they need a fourth because those three can't figure it out. Lol

North Wilkes goes 3 out of 4 vs the DubC! I will take that any day. The JV boys game was the best game of the night. Over came that freshman almost giving the game away in first OT to win in double OT. Varsity girls took down defending State Champs. JV girls looked good too. GO BIG BLUE!

Great job tonight North Wilkes GIRLS Basketball! Now that's something for Hayes to be proud of. Keep it up!

I think the non conference start that North Wilkes has gotten off to is one of the genuinely pleasant surprises of the MVAC teams. With what the coaches and kids had to go through last year, I am happy to see them having some success, and I can assure you that I am not a Hayesnite or a traphillian as one poster referred to them. Just wish their own fans could enjoy their improvement a little.

Easiest place to coach? The stands. we have no idea why he makes the moves he does. Im sure its better than what most can come up with. I criticize w the worst of them but the fact is, we are not coaches and we dont put the time in w practice and games like the coaching staff does. They know the players capabilities. I love how some have blasted NW for their start but when they won a few some still found something to ***** about. They are showing improvement in my opinion. I think Ashe looks very strong right now and can make a few rounds deep in the playoffs. East lincoln's title hopes went down with Surrats elbow. Shelby will be loaded as well as east Rutherford with their transfer. I havent had a chance to see WW yet but will get there soon.

He had been doing so good and but last night he left that same freshman in again. Making stupid fouls and having to be told where to go a most plays. It is not like he is putting 20 a game up, he is not even putting 10 a game up. Why does he leave him in the game. When the game is on the line get him out. Uncle ball again.

I am just glad to see coach call is now taking that freshman out when he makes two mistakes and not leaving him in to make 4 or 5 in a row. JV boys showing some skills in the last few games. Just glad the uncle is not there or he would ride the same five players until they lost every game. Good job coach call. All four teams won the other night. Great job Big Blue!

He may have finally learned something by watching the girls.

I know that a few teams have started. Any early season surprises. Any predictions for order of finish

Yea, what is the deal with coach call? He leaves that one freshman in even when he makes 5 or 6 mistakes. The last game he had to keep yelling at him to get into position and what to do on the play. I understand not taking the kids out when they make one mistake but coach call leaves this boy in too long. It is like watching him play for his uncle all over again. What is the deal?

He will not always have his principal that protects him and his little coaching staff. Her tenure should be coming to an end. He will have to move out of his neighborhood to live near the next principal. That could get expensive. Lol

sounds pretty familiar huh? oh well, there is a group of parents headed that way in the near future that should provide some great entertainment with this coaching staff. I am bringing my own popcorn to the show!

And let's not forget the holy group of boosters they have , talk about a show !! MORE LIKE A TRAVELING CIRCUS ACT!

He's a follower. He worries more about his own career as a basketball player than he does coaching. Someone needs to tell him that his career as a basketball player is over. Behrens only wants people around him that he can bully. It's all about self-preservation. It's not about the players I can tell you that.

So what the h&*^ is the deal with this Call coach of the JV, and i use the word coach very loosely. Does he have a clue or is he the classic " Friend " of someone?
