Sheets for mvp are you kidding!!!!! He has no true ball handling, I cant stand to watch him play.. His dad doesn't help him either... Last year he didn't even get off the bench, I think Grubb thinks he owes it to the seniors to start them or Sheets would not be starting..Sprinkle all conference.. I am a Huskie fan but the young man has earned it..

Ok thanks, i really think that central is one of the best three in the mountain conference but are poorly coached.

North Wilkes boys are going be without church the rest of the way. thats going kill any hopes of them making the playoffs. the mvac boys conference just got a lot weaker. if thats possible lol
Elkin girls have improved because of the transfers from starmount. not saying carter isnt good...but walters has made a HUGE impact on the team.
Wilkes Central boys and girls have been the biggest disappointments by far ...after the first 9-10 games.
My regular season predictions:
West Wilkes boys win 2a
Alleghany boys win 1a
North Wilkes girls win 2a
Elkin girls wins 1a

So with half the conference season over. 1 game over half for some. Who ends up winning the conference when it is all said and done.
With the recent weather problems, is it possible that the weather plays a huge role in who wins the conference this year.

If Sprinkle, Church, Greer, and Santos made all conference this year, it would be their second year of being all conference and 3 of them are juniors and Greer is a sophomore unless I am confused. Amazing how many good young players there are in this league this year. Not a particularly strong group of Seniors though

I believe the all conference players should be the best 5 players without regard to position.
Sprinkle Greer Church King Santos
No way that Sprinkle can be left off for Bell when he should be in the top 3 for player of the year

If there were just 5 they should be Sprinkle, Santos, Church, Greer, and Ashley from Starmount in my opinion.
If there are 5 more then they might be number 24 for starmount, Carlos King, Bell, the left handed inside guy for Central, and sheets from Ashe
