Unless he has a felony, that would be the only discipline issue that would keep him out. If he can show proof of residence in the WC district, from my understanding, he can play immediately

He can't play because once you move schools you must establish residence in that schools boundaries to play. So I don't know why he transferred unless his parents didn't know the rule before he did. I don't know. Guess he just wanted out. Its an NCHSAA issue I'm sure.

Yeah they are by far doing a great job. But considering this is a open football thread, why is my thoughts being criticized? The kid may of had one bad game. Who knows? Needless to say IF, i was coach i would have been rethinking that position when you have other kids that can play it just as well. Shorty, I think you need some education on your vs you're. However, this isn't English class. This is a football post, so I'll try to stay on topic. The young men at East are doing a far better job than your team did, while you were there. I'm excited that you'll be there to support them. Their offense and defense are doing very well. They NEED SUPPORT. What they don't need is the bitter, has been, and never were people, who went to East, and transferred, running their mouths. You see, I actually love, and support ALL of the players, EQUALLY. Football is a TEAM sport. If anyone of those children were seeking individual recognition, I'm sure they'd play an individual sport. Those young men are all like family, and blood is much more thick, than water. Together, they can do anything they want to do. So, be SUPPORTIVE. Be ENCOURAGING. If you're there to do that, then, by all means, do it. If you're not, we don't want your gate money.

The EW Jv team is doing the same thing..Smashing the weaker teams that theyve played to a tune of outscoring their opponents in 3 games 154-19...the program is definitely on a much needed upswing...quality depth on jv with over 40 players on the roster.

Cardinal61 you fail to realize that good teams smash teams that arent decent..thats exactly what this East Wilkes team is doing...they are currently ranked 11th in the state in the Ncpreps.com Bakers poll. So regardless of whether they have played world beaters or not....they smashed the weak teams like they were supposed to...Too much talk of offense and not giving their defense its just due..The coach has that Veer working and there is a reason that high school teams in 1a ranks will have a hard time being disciplined enough to stop it totally...So fall back a lil on the competition remarks...as good teams dispatch weaker teams when they are placed in front of them...Go Cards...4-0..and people still hate..continue to beat the teams youre supposed to beat..and keep listening to others try to throw salt in your game...anyway go Cards!!!!

In regards to your question, to enlighten you on what I stated, I was at the game he threw 3 interceptions and just in case you missed it, here is a paragraph out of the Journal Patriots write-up of that game: "But the second of Ward's three interceptions gave North Stokes the ball at the East Wilkes 38 with 3:45 to play in the half. Jackson Moorefield's 13-yard pass to Josh Manuel and runs by Blake Williams and Dalton Sawyers gave the Vikings a first down at the 10."

shorty, can you enlighten me to your great and vast knowledge behind your statement about EW QB throwing 3 ints in 1 game ? I believe the multi million dollar QB that plays for YOUR Cowboys has not only thrown 3 interceptions more than once, he has thrown 4 in a game , AND in 1 instance 5!!!! So don't come on here trying to out do someone (saying they outta do this or that) These kids at East are playing good right now, donj' try to mess it up!
