Beachgoer----- so you think every player for state or dook wasn't given a easy class or paper so they could play? Every player both have had was smart enough to make grade without help? Plus your saying former unc players wasn't smart enough to make grade to keep playing? Also your saying players went to unc ,not because they like coaches or school, but because of paper classes? Even through unc has one of biggest fanbases worldwide and players grow up unc fans some of them. Without paper classes state would have got unc players right?without classes state team would have went on run and won "05 & "09 titles if not for unc paper classes keeping players eligible right? Again excuses

You do realize that the paper classes and Huge # of "committee cases" got athletes into college and kept them eligible to compete as to where other schools could not? Easy example....Dwight Jones? He could not qualify for Clemson. What about the pitcher that had flunked out of school and AMAZINGLY got 4 A's in summer school so he could be re-instated and pitch in the world series??

Same team that missed ncaa tourney 2 years before, went 19-11 Roy's 1st year, then the 2009 team had 1 player in afam classes. But tell me how them taking a paper class improved the basketball team on court? Don't say extra practice because you can't prove they did which I think they didn't. Plus give other teams more hours unc still wins title "05. Players and teams are just better than others players and teams some years. You could practice everyday of life for 40 years, 10-12 hours a day. Do you think you'd beat Jordan , Bird, LeBron? Get real just excuses

Dook cheating has nothing to do with unc deal that's been covered. This is dook cheating and hasn't said sports students weren't involved there still investigating. Said 400 students involved didn't say they were or not any sports students. I said all schools cheat someway or the other. All dook fans said prove it and said dook doesn't and they are clean and never break the rules. Right here proof, unc didn't know classes were paper classes run by shadey professors coaches didn't know. Yet you said that's a lie. All schools have cheating or walk real close to the line you cannot cross. However, what went on at UNC for 18 years is beyond just cheating. To say cheating is cheating is like saying crime is crime. I doubt anyone believes murder and speeding are the same. Minnesota , when Clem Haskins was coach, had a program on the rise,Turns out, 18 players had term papers written by tutors over a five year period. The NCAA hammered them. It is coming for the Heels as well. If it doesn't. the NCAA will be done.
