DUKE rasheed sulaimon linked to 2 female sexual assaults

UNCG, Will Graves was still a student and a part time team video guy when he was caught with dope in Roy's house. I wasn't trying to make light of a serious "allegation" which is what it is at this point. BTW didn't hear a peep out of you when unc football players were hazing/bullying/beating one into a concussion. That disappeared pretty quickly? With all the things going on with your guys "carolina family" I can see why. I can pretty much everyone on here can agree "The Carolina Way" was just a farce from the beginning.

One thing is tell the cops. Next Dook hire someone to investigate. The claims. Before anyone says unc should have did this or that, were talking about a possible sexual assault here not a 1 class paper. Anyone who thinks paper classes even come close to being as bad as a possible rape is as big as a moron as the person if they did the rape. I'd say the same thing if a unc player did it. Come on now, we talk trash about teams and stuff but it's just a game, rape harms someone life if true. I can't say it's true, but him being kicked off team don't sound right. I wished it wasn't true because if it is . It may mess up 3 kids life's moving forward. It's bigger than unc dook sports. Same thing at unc, the ones who cross the line should do the time.

Tell the cops what? That a third party has accused a student athlete of sexual assault but she didn't report it to the police, university, or medical personnel? Not quite the thing to do!

I'm assuming you are not aware it is illegal for coaches to hire someone to investigate their student athlete life. Again, not quite the thing to do!

What doesn't sound right with Sulaimon's dismissal from the team? Do you recall the reason given? You do remember, Sulaimon is still a student at Duke University due to graduate in the near future?

Again, what doesn't make sense about Sulaimon's dismissal by Coach K?

On the flip side, its of my opinion all guilty of sexual assault or any sex crime should pay the price, for life, in my opinion. Murder is about the only thing, in fact probably the only thing worse than crimes of sex, in my opinion.

Honestly Sporting Guy because we do not know what happened, it is impossible to have any idea what K should have done. I feel sure that as this thing develops, it will become more clear what was or was not done. In the mean time, those of us that are not exactly Duke lovers will enjoy K being under the microscope.

Beachgoer---- will graves was out of unc when living in rented house. He could do like a state player save on gas by driving off without paying and save up and buy a house.

Sorry beachgoer but that is reserved for members of "The Carolina Family", and you can rest assured that he does not qualify.

Well obviously I don't know what happened, probably only a couple or three people in the world know.

I'm curious what posters think Krzyzewski and staff should have done differently?

Rumor is, after being kicked off the team Roy has been letting him live in his rental house? Also heard that he has been given the green light to babysit the grand kids.

According to an article published by the Washington post. Mike Cragg who is the Deputy Athletic director at Duke contacted basketball secretary Lincoln Wensley. 6 days later, Wensley resigned amid concerns about the allegations. 8 days after Wensley resigned, Salmonella was dismissed from the team. Sounds just a little bit less straight forward than devilnations uncorroborated report might indicate.

All I'm saying is they kicked him off team. If they believe they were nothing to it I can't see them kicking him off. No I don't hate dook more than I like unc. But at end of the day it's just a ball game. Funny how people want to make it personal with insults and name calling, lol. But I'm over the top?

I actually love UNC far more than I dislike Duke. However, I must say that if you are a true tarheel fan, a duke loss is only incrementally less enjoyable than a tarheel win. Ever hear the saying "my 2 favorite teams are the tarheels and whoever is playing Duke" UNCG obviously can go overboard sometimes, I realize that, but it is not unacceptable to be excited about a little of the polish getting knocked off of K's forehead. I realize that he brings most of it on himself, but if I took the abuse that he takes on here, then I would probably be a little over excited about this also.

Where does it say Duke didn't follow Title IX protocol? Sue Wasiolek obviously can't speak in specifics (that darn Federal law thing again), but there's absolutely nothing to suggest that Duke didn't do exactly what they were supposed to do. All we know is that Sulaimon wasn't punished back in March 2014, after Coach K & Co found out. That's it. To equate that with saying nothing was investigated is shortsighted and premature.
My completely uncorroborated guess would be that nothing was done because the alleged victims REFUSED TO TALK. Heck, the only reason we even know about these allegations is because other members of the Common Ground retreat breached the confidentiality provision.
To think that Duke would have tangible evidence against Sulaimon, keep him on the team for 9 months after AND allow him to continue to be a student after he was kicked off of the basketball team is laughable. And for Duke to kick him off the team or expel him without any credible evidence would be equally ridiculous, as well as dangerous. Go look at what happened with Dez Wells and Xavier. I'll save you the trouble; Xavier kicked Wells out of school based on similar charges, it came to light that Wells was innocent, and the Wells family ended up agreeing on a "settlement" with Xavier this past summer. Terms confidential, of course.

UNGG what is there to be mad about?

Its upsetting to see a fellow UNC fan enjoy our rivals having tough times more than when our team wins.

I just don't get you, you continually lower your standards to other peoples.

This one might get a tad bit uncomfortable for King Rat before this is over. Ultimately I hate it for the young ladies if this is true.

Funny thing is the one that broke the news is the dook student paper. Then coach k dismissed him out of blue. Looks like unc as dook fans say isn't the only one doing cover-ups. Plus dook sucks also, one and done K, not for players but the ncaa tourney

While a tragedy if true, there have been no charges filed. The accused is still a student in good academic standing at Duke. It is sad that the coaches have known about this for over a year now and nothing done. While nothing has been proven, knowing about it for a year , then dismissing him seems odd. Either stand behind the player if you think he is innocent of the charges or dismiss him when you learn about it. Louisville just went through the same deal with their point guard, difference being he was arrested. In big time college sports, the tail wags the dog, and in the case of college basketball, it is killing the sport.
