PLEASE!!! The Mtn Valley conference is one of the weakest conferences in the state. Alleghany finally saw some playoffs games last year after a 100yrs of existence. Ashe and Starmount can compete from year to year but nobody is making deep layoff runs each year.

Central has won a few conference championships too but still no playoff runs. The only reason I entertain a middle school conversation is to enjoy people's responses so keep them coming. Just change to a HS thread if you want to change the subject.

I guess you're bicker between each other makes you forget about Ashe, Alleghany and Starmount beating you"re ***** in high school!!!!!!......Too bad money and portfolios cant buy you all playoff wins!!

My point on the championships is that 2 or possibly 3 teams could finish with similar records and all hang a championship banner. There can't be a "true" winner because teams don't play the exact same schedule. Even if you finish undefeated and another team only has 1 loss, you may only play them once and there is no shot at a 2nd chance.

As to the financial conversation, I'm happy you are proud of yourself but you have no clue who your blogging with so I would leave that alone before you are embarrassed.

There ain't really a ms school championship. Nobody plays the same schedule. I'm sure Central would play anybody and wouldn't worry about winning or losing. They seem to just enjoy playing ball.

By the way, why would you talk bad about a bunch of middle school kids and their future? Nobody expects D1 players out of these kids but there is nothing wrong with having goals.

You would have to dig real deep in the record books and take state championships from West in wrestling and baseball for the "borrowed" players or the asterisk beside their record if we are getting picky.

The kid from east is a central district kid anyway. The other 2 wanted to be in a place where they don't have to worry about back wounds or long term scars.

The whole team are transfers. Mostly from Wilkesboro Elementary, a few from North Wilkesboro and CC Wright.

Speaking of no class, the west middle 8th grade girls coach screamed at the refs all night and then decided to scream at the Central players as well. Real nice class!!

It was a fun, exciting but very chippy game as most of the west and central games are so let the boys fight that battle which is where it should stay.
