Nice win for Dallas. Not going to lie: I did not see that coming.
But Dallas has to take care of business at home now...two very important divisional games in two weeks. Dropping one of those will take some of the shine off beating Seattle.
Tony Romo now ranks fourth this season in QBR and passer rating, behind Manning, Rodgers, and Rivers (not necessarily in that order). That sounds about right.
Being able to tell which month it isn't sounds like the world's worst super power. But, if I ever need to know now which month it isn't, I know where to turn.

It's not December yet.
If you can't understand that, think:
Charlie Brown,Lucy and kicking the ball.

Nice win. I'm not sure Dez Bryant is human. Gotta play better next week, though.

First off, I have no idea how to counter an argument that supplies an indisputable fact (Romo's 21 comebacks are the best in franchise history) with a statement that says Romo isn't the franchise best at comebacks, based solely on one person's opinion, besides just nodding my head and smiling while slowly backing away.
Second, Romo's 21 comebacks are also the best of any quarterback since 2006. Just sayin'.
Third, Romo has had some terrible games that have cost the team wins, and Dallas tends to lose those games they don't win. (I don't have a link for that, but still I'm sticking to it.) Anyway, case in point: He gave the first game of the season away to an opponent that's obviously ready to spontaneously combust, and the blame for that rests on his shoulders. It was a terrible missed opportunity. HOWEVER, again, they didn't win that game, so poor performances like that would have no bearing on comeback wins.
Sigh.
Fourth, we can't have it both ways. We can't applaud the ability to be clutch and then say it didn't actually matter, because so-and-so also threw an interception in the second quarter, and if he hadn't have done that, then things would have been much different, and yada, yada, yada. When the game is on the line, stats show that Romo is clutch, period. Unless you have specific evidence to dispute that, which I'd love to see and discuss.
It's funny...actually Romo performed much worse last year late when Dallas had a late lead. That's something I wish someone would do a study on.
One more thing: SIncerely, thanks for responding with more than a subject (Romo), verb (stinks) and emoticon.

And how often does a QBs shoddy play over the previous three quarters often lead to the NEED for the "comeback" or "game winning" victory? Case in point was the Luck interception last week, when the Colts were up by 7. All they needed was a FG to ice it. Then Luck threw a poor pass, it was intercepted, and the Eagles march down the field and tie the game.
As soon as luck comes back onto the field, the MNF let us know that Luck has led X# of game winning drives. That's great and all, but if he had finished off the drive BEFORE that, there would have been no need for a game winning drive. The game clinching drive suffices.
The Romocoaster has spent a career digging the Cowboys into a hole, and then furiously trying to get them out of it. Check the Cowboys W/L split when their rush/pass playcalling split is nearly even; much higher. Romo's a swell guy and all, and kudos on beating the Rams, a team headed for a top 5 pick, but to say that Tony Romo is the "best" at anything in Cowboys history is not accurate in any sense of the word, save for "banged hottest tail".
And even Jerrah probably bests him on that score.

You do realize Romo just quarterbacked the Cowboys to their biggest comeback regular-season victory (actually a tie with two other games)? And that Romo has 21 fourth quarter or overtime comebacks now, the best in franchise history?

Interesting read about clutch quarterbacks, since 2000. A certain Dallas quarterback fares well. This is obviously not the only gauge of success, but perhaps a case of perception creating a false reality.

Nice to see the Cowboys fans fill up almost half of Jerry World yesterday.
Even nicer to see the 49ers fans fill up more than half of Jerry World yesterday.

Offense hasn't been the issue in quite a while. To say otherwise is ignorant. The team has been let down by poor defense, and, unfortunately, that looks like it will be the case again this season.
To add to shorty's list, the line is starting to gel with Smith, Fredrick, and Martin. They could be good for awhile. Lance Dunbar has shown flashes of being a great compliment to the running game, IF he stays healthy. Escobar is a wild card; it's hard to imagine too many touches going his way, but he really could be utilized in the red zone. He's 6' 6" with good hands.

Hope75, As a reasonable Dallas fan that actually has a little bit of sense, to answer your question. Yes. Romo does have more than just Dez. Jason Witten is always a big part of the Dallas offense as he is Romo's "Go-to" guy. Then you have the "rookies' Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley who really stepped it up last year with the absence of Miles Austin. And then you have Demarco Murray whom is ranked 7th in RB's for the upcoming fantasy season. Demarco rushed for over 1100 yards last year with a 5.2 YPC average. Now with that said, am I saying Dallas is better matched that Chicago or any other team in the league..absolutely not. But, Dallas will score points and will win several games, but the defense will also let us down once again and cost us several games.
