K-rat good, but Dean Smith reach 879 wins in 50 some less games than k-rat did. Dean had 252 losses where as k-rat has 308-309 losses. Head to head Dean was 26-14 vs coach k.

I'm not sure where you got Woodens numbers but you are way off.

Maybe the greatest of his time. 1000 wins means he coached a long time. John Wooden coached a total of 1088 games, winning 885, with 10 national titles.

When hes done, there shouldn't even be a discussion who's the greatest coach of all time....

Duke was garbage before took over, the biggest reason for me is he done all of this in the acc, without dispute the toughest conference during his reign....

Coach k goes for his 1000 win, it's hard to imagine a 1000 wins Little on do it. He will probably end up around 1250.. that's a record that may never be broke......
