Cars today have rookies wining races and doing good. We're the old cars had no power steering and you had to man handle them. Sorry Johnson don't add up. Plus , Gordon has 92 wins,

Plus Johnson been lucky to benfit from the chase playoffs, where by old point system he wouldn't have won but 2-3 titles right now. Go back and count it by the old system his championship seasons and see what I mean

D. Pearson was the best driver. Petty had more wins, but Pearson won 75% of races he ran. Never runing a full season and won 3 titles. Petty said Pearson. Might have won 300 races and 10 titles had he ran all full seasons, instead of half seasons

And back then, someone could start a team with a small amount of money and still be competitive. Now, nothing less than a couple million can get you good enough to even qualify. The sport has been ruined with more technology and trying to make it even.
Make stock cars stock again

Fins when 43 and 3 were racing the gap between the competition was huge. In their time $ could actually buy a win today the cars are more even.
