Badguy, living in the past will not get you wins this year. I really don't care how they have done in the past what matters is this year only. That is the problem with the mentality of everyone in Ashe Co. "Man Last years team was good", "Man, we went to the second round of the playoffs"....That was great LAST year, but this is 2015 and the team is 5-5. Pitiful preparation,pitiful coaching,pitiful leadership,pitiful pitiful pitiful!!!!!

Re: the bench players....I didn't say the bench players were better than the starters, I said the "starters"/Favorites get more coaching. Bad coaching is still coaching. What I was referring to was if they had coaches ALL the kids the back ups would be more prepared when their numbers are called.

I know what my nephew tells me they do and don't do at practice and it isn't tackling. Common sense (if you had any) would tell you that they aren't practicing any tackling because if they did daily they would be a much better tackling team. I know who was out and for what reasons....that doesn't impact their lack of ability to coach the next man up! But that goes back to the favorites.....they start and get "coached up" and the other guys just fill a spot mostly on the side lines. But that whole mentality has come to bite "the good ole boy's club" in the butt this year. Because the guys they have been ignoring were forced to play and weren't ready....that's how you get to 5-5 and 4-2 in the conference.

Price was out after his "punch" against East Wilkes, this was his second game of two suspension. Sullivan was out with the concussion. Lowder is still out from whatever injury he had a month ago. Hamilton the other DT inside was out. One other kid that i can't think of his name.

Badguy......who teaches them how to tackle, the Coaches!!! Back to what I was sayin, poor coaching. And it comes back to coaching again on replacing the starters that are out. But the only true coaches that Ashe County has is at the middle school. Those guys "coach up" the kids to squeeze every bit of talent out of their athletes. Hampton's croanies only tear the kids down. The only positive reinforcement on that team goes to the coaches favorites. If you don't know who they are just watch the sidelines Friday night, it's pretty easy to pick out!!

Tough crowd. Ashe was missing what, 5 starters last week? And people blame Hampton for that? Impressive stupidity, even for this group.

Guru...youre still in hiding or disbelief one...which one is it...East will be playing West this Friday night...They still have plenty left..after you vowed there would be nothing left after Ashe, Starmount, and Wilkes Central tore them. Now its time for more of your Nostradamus-esque predictions..I predict that youve ran and hid and ultimately stopped posting. Since nothing else has went your way in the way of knowlege of these local teams and their capabilities.

Yeah I don't bother listening to him...can't handle so much bs coming from one person. The coaching has always been suspect. The players he has this year just dont compare to last year.

Nice Hampton......really nice! Listening to you spit that BS on the radio this morning about how the offense played great and the QB having a great game. Defense needs to be more aggressive and need to tackle better. HOW BOUT THE OFFENSE SCORE MORE POINTS. HOW BOUT THE PLAY CALLING IMPROVE, HOW BOUT YOU GET A GRIP ON REALITY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS.....COACHING!!

Hampton still can't figure it out. Doesn't have the talent on either side of the ball like he did last year. No QB, WR (except Mason),OL,DL,LB or DBs. Has a good RB but apparently he's injured (or missed 5 mins of practice knowing Hamptons BS). If you don't have the talent to run the "Airraid" time to go more balanced...You play with what you got.

Who knows. But from what I saw we totally out coached on both sides of the ball.

Hampton and his group of clowns Are a joke. Can't score three times inside the five yard line. Hahahha. The air raid has been grounded. What a compete let down this year has become. I can see an early exit in the playoffs. Just be glad they let .500 teams in the playoffs.

Lol must not be too real or you would stop wasting time on gowilkes and support your Real team. Good luck to your real team. There so real you didnt mention them. But these area teams appreciate your interest. Whether you have anything good to say or not. Makes no difference. I have watched a lot of real football as well. Watching it each week as real kids bust their tales for these Mtn. schools. So wherever region your real football is played in. Im sure other regions enjoy bashing them too. Kind of dog eat dog world. We will take these mtn boys. U take your mythical all region team that you didnt mention. Its not where youre from.. its where youre at.
