Even with the cupcake schedule, West has put up impressive numbers and with their big offensive line, they will give WC all they can handle. As a central fan, I will admit, West has a shot because they are much improved but they will have to stop all the athletes WC will throw at them. They will also need help from the state to fix Ortiz's ejection.

Yeah honestly I see Central winning conference. Don't let the 2 losses fool you. Surry Cemtral is 4-0 and has a great team. And Patton is a big 3a school with athletes and experience. West would have been blown out by both. Only team I see challenging Central is East and Ashe. West will finish middle of the road which is a pretty good achievement for them lol

It's funny every year West starts out with a couple of garbage wins they think this is the year they beat Central. Even when Central was 1-10 who did they beat...West. Too many athletes on the field for them to handle. Might not be a 42-6 game but WC will win and breaks the hearts of all the Millers Creek mafia once again....

West played one of the worst schools in the state and central played a 3a school that has a top 5 rushing offense in the state and will win a lot of games this year. Central will demolish West as usual this year. No changes there.

Wow, is a west fan actually getting on social media and dogging out another football program or staff? Beat WC more than a couple of times every 20 years and you will be allowed a voice. Until then, please worry about what's going on in Millers Creek.

When you win by 49 it's not a problem. The problem is giving up 72 and losing by 20!! That's almost as bad as Ashe county. I think every team in the conference will be running the wing T against
Them this year! Hahahhah gotta be the worst coaching staff
In the state. They must simply not have the ability or intelligence to adjust.

I'm hearing rumors coming out of the Central district of some athletes walking off the football team. True or False? Like I said only hearing rumors. What's going on with that program??

Head Coach Tuner I was told had an amputation of one of his legs below the knee due to Cancer...but he will return soon...let's wish him well and send b prayers for all concerned. ..

According to the radio station out of Alexander County who covers that school's games WC's HC Ron Turner will miss games off the sideline due to some type of surgery not told in the article. The AD for Central said two assistants (more than likely the coordinators,) would fill in for Turner until he is ready for his return.
Wonder how this will affect WC?
