Kid at north may be good but he was suspended against Starmount for cursing out his teacher. Probably won't be able to play Varsity if that behavior continues. Congrats to West Wilkes being undefeated. If they all play together next year, second in conference behind Ashe.

Sorry Bla Bla But WC has 10 Jv's plAying up and starting!! West has 2.... Look at the History of the groups.. Do your research.. Next Year(2015) it will be ASH, WC, And EAST top 3 teams.. Elkin , Starmount will be down,, The next year(2016) West will finish top 3 ,, it will be WC, ASH , West, ,, then the next(2017) it will be East,Alleghany, Starmount .. And Humble pie,, Boles had to move with his Family.. But I feel like he will be back... ANd that will be a huge Game Changer!!!!! He is BY FAR!! the best Freshman in this area!!! Guru why did the Boles boy go to North? Any chance he comes back. Norths football program is back in its normal place of 1 win or worse seasons.

I was wrong wasn't 50-0 was 55-0 could have been 155-0 if west wouldn't have pulled their starters out in the 2nd quarter.As far as central go they have a couple good sophomores up but the rest don't impress me.I think West will handle them next year.

I will say it again. WC has the best 9th and 10th graders. Then in no piticular order Ash, alleg, west , .. East has a very strong freshman class. But only Mabe 7 total 10th graders. Plus Qb , RB , Lb/ol. From SB last year not playing.. (WR playing up) That being said east only lost 2 conf games.. Which is a testimony of how weak and watered down JV football is. People Coaches Don't get hired or fired for win/loss JV football...

Once again the post is about JV not Varsity. If gooru's point is so valid shouldn't your Varsity be better than 3-7 or JV be better than 1-8? Wow you really prove my point on your own. I'm not mad at all I just don't see how someone can get on here claiming greatness when the teams they talk about being so great have nothing to show to prove it. I'll be the first to admit East does great at the lower levels but Varsity has problems almost every year. So sorry but 1-8 JV and 3-7 Varsity is nothing to brag about - FACT!

Reading comprehension. gooru made a valid point and you were offended - I simply took his side because it's true. No need for name calling as is an indicator of ignorance and resulting to insults because you're mad. EW needs to quit worrying about JV and focus on varsity. Every year we hear "EW JV this and that" and then when they get to varsity they win 1-3 games.

Look at the title of the post humbledope. It is about JV not Varsity. If you want to talk Varsity football you should go to the correct spot- in other words learn how to read STUPID.

EWfan, how little you know. Central has numerous sophomores and even freshman starting on varsity that just whipped on East's juniors and seniors!!! I know East has young men playing up as well but Central is a 2A school. Central doesn't put much stock in "JV Championships". You'll see.

WILKES Central has by FAR the best Group of 9th And 10th Graders. So dont get your hopes up!!! JUst needs to be Said!!!!
