Kentucky is the best team in what I see as a very weak NCAA tourney this year. May just be my opinion, but the number of quality teams is way down this year compared with the last few years. If you look at the power teams from the power conferences, they are all down some compared to what they have been being except for Kentucky. There is not a person alive that will pull against Kentucky harder than I will, but it will take a really really bad performance on their part if they do not win the NCAA championship. With that said though, those games happen. It surely wont be in round 1 or 2 but I am hoping for an upset. The problem is other than them, I do not see a championship worthy team out there right now. It will be interesting to see which team gels at the right time and makes a run when no one expects them to.

Dook don't, the only thing helping dook is its easy bracket. You act if dook beat unc by 30 points or something. Funny thing is unc should have won at dook and had big lead at unc give it back. Dook won, but a team like you talking about blows out teams, dook hasn't did that to good teams. They are 20+ teams good enough to win the title if they get breaks. Uva guy wasn't 100%, but wasn't a excuse when pinson, white, berry hubert , Luke davis was hurt. Roy had to get jv ,and a asst. Coach son to help to be able to practice, had 25-30 minutes for 3 weeks and it didn't go good then. But they look better now, give notre dame a hard game.

I agree UNC is playing as well as Virginia, but that has everything to do with 1) Justin Anderson missing several weeks and 2) Justin Anderson being a different player upon his return and 3) UVA adjusting to have Justin Anderson back on the floor.
UNC has no chance at a National Champion and if UVA doesn't adjust quickly they don't either.
Its not necessarily not Kentuckys to lose, but if they play their best they will not be beat. I listed the six teams, it may actually be 4 because perhaps Villanova doesn't belong either.

Well looks like I did pretty good.
Called that Notre Dame thingie didn't I?
On to the NCAAT, best of luck to all the ACC teams.
One last prediction for me, Kentucky is not a shoo in!
Teams with a shot besides UK are Duke, Virginia, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Villanova. That is it! Six teams and the champion will be one of those.

WF is 0-3 but I think I missed them in my predictions, they could finish as high as 10.
Manning will get it done for them.

Looks pretty good so far except Wake Forest looks better than 15th at this point.
Its early but I'll throw in some individual awards after the first 2-3 games.
1st All ACC
Jahlil Okafor
Jerian Grant
Justin Anderson
Montrez Harrell
Rakeem Christmas
Player of the year right now is a toss up between Okafor, Grant, and Anderson.
Danny Manning, even though his team is 0-3 right now will end up as Coach of the Year.

Well the ACC season kicks off in full stride this weekend, how does everyone see the season playing out?
With an unbalanced schedule its very hard to do it with just the eyeball test and be accurate but I'll take a try at it. I did no schedule comparing with this so if I'm wrong, that's why.
1. Duke/Virginia
1. Virginia/Duke
3. Louisville
4. Notre Dame
5. North Carolina
6. Pittsburgh
7. Syracuse
8. NC State
9. Miami
10 Georgia Tech
11 Florida State
12 Clemson
13 Boston College
14 Virginia Tech
15 Wake Forest
How does that look? Duke and Virginia will battle it out for first. Notre Dame isn't getting the credit they deserve here in ACC land but they will be a tough team.
