If you want to give him money explain to him that it's best to tank up in the am. As hot as it is the gas will expand and his tank will contain more gas after lunch.

The man up here is the gas man. His can and tank seems to always be empty. I'd say he's the gas tank money man. His family members are sick and he wants to fill his tank several times per day.

just ask him...if you like his answer and are moved by his situation..then give to him whatever you feel you can do.
