elkin is nothing more than a broke bankrupt town when chatham died elkin died plus its just a small town any way so it cant grow.

Looks like they're going out of business again...

They crack me up, though. Somehow, they think it's the TOWN's fault that they're closing! It has nothing to do with the fact that they haven't done any marketing on their own to remind people that they exist... I guess they think that's Elkin's job?

It's sad to see an icon die, but come on, people. What did you think would happen?
