The latest report says over 300 acres have burned and fires are still out of control, one report states the fire was started by a campfire that quickly spread.

The tent folks on 421 below the Lowes complex before you get to Holiday Inn have been burning fires the last couple nights. No doubt to keep warm but there's a lot of trash around those tents.

This morning it was reported that over 100 acres have now burned as the fires continue.

WXII reports wildfires burning on Pilot Mtn. God, please be with the firefighters battling these blazes.
