They are handling it much better now.

I love the pick up service. I used it multiple times prior to Covid19 fiasco. When things started flying off the shelves, they had a tougher time keeping up, and a lot of what I wanted wound up being unavailable. It may be better now, IDK. I wound up having to go in anyway most of the time so I decided to stop using pick-up until they were better able to handle the demand.

Just a little life hack, if it works for you, is to order your groceries online and pick them up. A lot of items can be offered 2 day shipping for free. I know that doesn't work in 100% of the cases, but if it's something you can plan ahead for and/or wait on, I'd take advantage of those services.

I also saw on the financial news last night that Walmart is going to offer Walmart Plus soon. Supposed to be $98/year. Same day shipping. Delivering fresh groceries and such. Trying to compete with Amazon.

That's kind of what I thought but I didn't ask why.

They had both sides open and supposedly controlling occupancy. They have only done this in the last day or two. Not that walking hurt me any, but if someone needs to be close to the entrance, the handicapped parking on the pharmacy side isn't going to be helpful right now. Just thinking of people that maybe don't get around so easily.

They're finally taking it seriously? That's amazing in itself...

If you head to the Elkin Walmart, they are only letting people in and out at the grocery side now. That's handy information to have when you choose your parking spot.
