Now in its 10th year, the Habitat Hammer 5k/10k welcomes runners and walkers to take to the streets and trails of Elkin NC in support of Habitat homebuilding in Yadkin, Surry and Wilkes counties!. Race Schedule:
Friday, April 3, 3:00-6:00 pm: Packet pick-up at the Habitat office, 102 E. Market Street, Elkin
Saturday, April 4, 7:00 am: Packet pick-up/registration at the large picnic shelter, Elkin Municipal Park
8:00 am: Races start
9:30 am: 5K awards ceremony at the park band shell, followed by 10K awards
10:00 am: Finish line closes
Awards:
Awards to top finishers in both races.
5K: prizes to top 3 in 5-year age groups 10K: prizes to top 3 in 10-year age groups
Goodies!:
Door prizes, swag bags, t-shirts, music, , food table sponsored by Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital & more.
