Goodwill Career Connections Elkin

Nutritionist, Lynn Clayton of Surry County Health and Nutrition Center will be at the Goodwill Career Center in Elkin!

We have all heard the phrase, "you are what you eat." Learn what to eat to live a long and healthy life with diet and exercise. Find out how eating certain foods can help prevent some diseases. It is all about a healthy lifestyle from the inside out!

Lynn will answer some conflicting questions such as...

Are diet drinks and artificial sweeteners bad for me?

Are bananas and grapes the forbidden fruit?

How does what I eat effect my cholesterol and blood pressure?

Lynn will be joined by Vicky Kirkman, BCCCP/WISEWOMAN/Adult Health Coordinator who will talk about Breast Cancer and Breast Health.
