Combos might be the better deal 99 % of the time but not if you're paying for product you're not getting and yes, you do pay for any item that comes on a sandwich even if you tell them to leave it off. Be nice to your cashiers because if they know what they are doing, they can save you quite a bit of money. Since we're talking mcds here's an examplefrom them, order 4 10 pieces of nuggets there roughly 3.50 each. You gonna spend $14. A 40 piece nugget is $9. $5 savings and they will box it as 10 pieces if you ask. My kids love mcds so I spend quite a bit of time looking at the menu and figuring out the cheapest options. Then again I do that most everywhere I go.

Let me share a story from the service pov. Disclaimer: I am in no way connected with the mcd of Elkin or the franchise which owns it. I do however run a drivethru and rude customers are a fact of life for any fast food worker. Last week a lady order a steak&cheese biscuit combo. I rang her up a steak biscuit plus cheese, a hashbrown, and a dollar sweet tea. My register won't allow for a combo with that particular biscuit. She got mad because I didn't do a combo and there was a steak, egg,and cheese combo listed on the menu board.she told me to ring it up as that minus the egg. And then went on to tell me how stupid I was and how even she could do my job better than I could and she had never worked at fastfood before. I went ahead and changed her order as requested and her final total went from 10.23 ringing it up my way to being 11.13 ringing it up the way she wanted it. I usually like to save my customers money whenever I can but in this instance, I had no problem charging her almost a dollar more for the exact same thing I had rung up to begin with.

I still eat there but always use drive through so can't speak to the condition of the inside. Not had any trouble with food quality

I always try to check out a resturants score before eating there. And I am always checking the place out also. If it looks dirty or unsanitary.... I leave.

Dude, just ask the server lady to add extra soup to your beans. As for the Vidalia, you might have to bring your own if you plan on eating there.
