I'm not going to complain about the refs.. I have my own thoughts about the mighty mites game! My issue is AsheHuskies07 calling them losers. We lost, it is what it is... But there is not a single person who watched that game.. Thru 3 overtimes.. That can call Elkin mighty mites losers!!! Yeah, they lost the game, But they lost a hard fought battle, gave it all they had and left it all on the field, and lost with more class than the other team showed thru out the game!! They are not Super Bowl champions.. But they are winners!!!

I just figured the fans of the losers would come on here and complain since the officials were actually neutral (from Boone) and not the biased weak officials that called most of the regular season games.

central dad you pretty much were spot on except the midget game.

the best game was the mighty mites, thought that game would never end.

east destroyed Alleghany.

elkin dominated ashe.

Best game of the day was the 1st/2nd grade. Went triple OT with Central winning 12-6.

Sorry, I thought I had heard Ashe won. I went 3-1 then.

Wow I hit the nail on the head going 4 for 4 predicting the champions.

East has a lot more game experience than Alleghany does.

Almost every kid playing for East Saturday will be playing their 2nd season as starters.

Big difference in being on a roster for two seasons and playing almost every down in the games for two seasons.

East will name their score in the Junior Pee Wee game and Alleghany will not score unless East takes the foot off the gas pedal.

"East will take the second game, just too experienced." How is that? These kids are all playing the same games and should be equal on experience...

Dontquit....I wouldn't call east lucky, they did what they needed to do and that is win. They are a good team and should bring the Super Bowl back to Wilkes on Saturday. The game with Central could have went either way and certainly was a great game but no luck involved...just football and the breaks that can go in either teams way.

Good luck to East this weekend. I'm a Central fan and hope you guys bring home the hardware.

Pee Wee, Ashe vs Elkin

Middle, Ashe vs East

I think we tak the MM because of our speed.

East will take the second game, just too experienced.

Elkin will take the third game because that defense is just unbelievable.

I believe Ashe will take the last one because of the home crowd behind them, teams are pretty even.

What are other posters opinions?
