Please be aware that a young man by the name of Rylee Billings is one to watch...making it to State in his freshman year says a lot....along with Dakota this will be two to see...so go next season and support this sport no matter if your West, East, North, Wilkes Central.....they deserve your moral support....besides it fun to watch two do what they do on the mat  . Go Blackhawks...

for a community to have this many State Qualifiers and then State Champions says a lot for each of these wrestlers commitment to the Sport...remember this is individual not team sport like baseball, basketball, football, soccer. though the team gains points it through each and everyone of these hard working wrestlers efforts that brings the Light of Championship to the team...that being said I know Brandon he along with Dakota are inspirations to those on the team....Brandon achieved a level of greatness through hard work .... Dakota showed what it takes to be a State Champion...we have many more who will put forth that work ethic no matter which school in Wilkes County...Parker and Susui and other State QUALIFIERS....did represent these 2A schools....Congrats to all who made it to State and make that commitment to continue next season....the Coaches are not to be forgotten in this...they too deserve all the accolades for mentoring these individuals.....WILKES COUNTY has over the last ten years been represented exceptionally well for small school..

If you are going to wrestle in this county West is the only place to be. The rest will never be the best.
