Will concur with that BaseballMom. Tommy was a great basketball coach. The County forced him out as usual. Good luck Ty!

Congratulations Ty,proud of you keep up the great work and carry on your dads great coaching skills really wish Wilkes County could have kept Tommy Johnson coaching here he was doing great things with the athletes here,such a huge loss when he left!

Long time Wilkes County Coaching Legend Tommy Johnson's son Ty Johnson (23) is moving up. Ty has recently been named the head assistant coach at Montreat College! Johnson who was an unanimous first team all-american and national champion in college and ACC All Star was at West Brunswick near the beach this year as the head coach. Congrats Ty!
