Keepitreal...I'm a central fan but you won't hear me bragging about beating the other county teams. Central is supposed to beat them. Time to set sights higher than a county championship.

Not to worry, someone will get another win once the county schools start playing for the coveted "vagisil" cup. I mean county championship.

I have also kinda caught wind of some things going on there but as i just asked in another thread about West how can there be any more drama at one school than the other? Is there more drama going on at Central than West?
I also have heard that there are quite a few not pleased after talking with a booster..Also there is a rumor that the coach is spending $2000 on two radio equipped helmets to try and get the plays in quicker. No idea if this is true or not.

I agree with you on a few points there but im pretty sure 32 was playing in the game but not at tailback much if any..so I'm not sure what his injury is if he is still able to play D. I also agree with getting 2 the ball more..i mean from what i saw 10 made his usual great catches by out jumping and getting himself in better position to catch the pass over his defender even when they had their safety moving to his side to double team him..others should be open and 2 has the speed to score on each pass he catches.
As far as who is the best lineman i disagree there..work ethic in practice and games is not there..I was told the coaches are on his butt every single day for not giving a good effort. This is in my opinion a product of showing favorites by coaches and a position being given instead of earned..There are certain ones who if you watch will play however they feel like because they know they will play no matter what..not to mention laying out of practice because they dont like having to run or hear someone in their earhole because they arent giving the effort needed.

Solid points. 32 was injured last week. I don't know if he was a decoy or what. He is explosive. It didn't help having number 50 out either. He is by far the best lineman on the team. They need to get number 2 some carries. I don't know if there is anyone in the conference that can catch him. I just don't get it. With the talent this team has they should have blown Surry Central out.

No need to apply for a job as a coach when you are not part of the school system..As far as building for next year they have the talent to win games now..they have the 3 best backs in the county and conferance..I did think that the offense ran smoother with having only 1 QB seeing the field..I think that was a positive.
What i dont understand is a player runs good the week before like 32 did against a strong D but doesnt touch the ball against a weaker D..dont get me wrong 23 is strong but with the way the play calling is going and what seems to be the lack of a good game plan his yards this year looks to be alot lower than any previous year. Another example is look at how 10 dominated Surry's D backs then they stop going to him.. it just makes no sense.
I still say they better trash the 3-4 D until 3rd down situations..they have speed at D back..let them cover man to man..dare teams to throw..but you have to stop the run. if you are going to stick with a 3-4 an entire game why not bring a blitz from different points?? It's like you see a kid doing something that is not right but he is allowed to continue doing it..and im talking about every position...Do they not have coachs up in the box watching the game and in communication with coaches on the sideline?? Ive also been told that unless you have a weight lifting class that their is no lifting to get stronger going on..how do you win games at the end when you are not strong enough to finish?? And i believe conditioning comes in there too.

Guru, I hate to say it but I agree with some of what you said. However Instead of getting on here and bad mouthing let's encourage these kids. If you think you can do a better job maybe you should apply for the job.
Last night was a very frustrating game to watch as a spectator. I'll admit that but there were positives to look at. This team is improving every week. I hate to say it but they are building for next year. Just the way I see it although I don't know who is going to replace 10. 10 is a great player but there are others that are open too.

Ok so now lets hear what a great job is being done at Central!!! Surry Central was a conferance game that everyone said we can handle them..Yeah right..this wasnt a 3A team so people cant say well that was a strong 3A school or start in on it being a new offence. I will say that Central has the most talent of any in the county but if you cant coach it right it does you no good. The defense is horrible..but why do you not run a goaline D with seconds left on the clock??? The MLB was up in the same gap everytime..not trying to time the snap and shoot through..he was picked up and blocked everytime at the end...they knew by them doing this that the blitz was coming up the middle so they went around the end...poor coaching on technique and situations is what leads to poor results..once again the tackling was pitiful to say the least..grabbing at jerseys instead of wrapping up and making a tackle...ive seen some proclaim what a great job is being done and oooo they are better than last year..well who cares about last year..its this year that counts. I have another theory on what is going on from things ive heard from several players but will keep that to myself for now..i think the coach will end up and slip up and hang himself on his own words and actions...enough said
