I think the problem lies with the original poster putting out the kids name. Then he later stated I made a call and got the info. People, this is not the place to publish a kids name. So I will agree that there probably was an ulterior motive behind the original posters message. Just the facts as always, your good ole Mav.

So apparently no one really knows the story. He was carted off the field and taken to the emergency room at Iredell-Statesville Hospital. Also apparent in all of this are the fact that A) no one really cares about the safety of a high school athlete and would rather talk about the "drama" at WW. Of course, because of all the "drama" the kid couldn't possibly have been hurt and removed from the field via stretcher. It is an absolute joke the way most of you on here respond to what could have been a serious situation. I hope nothing ever happens to any of your athletes, but if it does, will you treat it with this flippant attiude? And B) it is clear that none of you have ever dealt with a potential head/neck injury from a medical side. In the event of possible head/neck trauma, the medical staff has to abide by certain rules to insure that they do no further harm. This includes stabilizing the head and neck area, as well as many on field checks. If there is any doubt whether the athlete is hurt or not, they must treat them as if it is worst case scenario.

So apparently the player was just hurt and helped from the field nothing else. This story is a big joke , the daddy must have posted this seeking sympathy. Well its not cool crying wolf and should have never been posted. He is obviously an unknown player and mommy or daddy tried to get his name out. What losers.

I was just wondering if there is really that much drama going on at west? I know its bad for any kid to get hurt and i do hope he is ok. But how much drama can there really be there compared to any other school?

I would also like to know how the West player is doing. I was at the game and saw him take a nasty head shot that resulted in him being taken away by ambulance. If anyone has an update on his health some of us really do care and would like to know how he is doing.

I got a call from a friend of mine who's son plays at North Iredell. He asked me if I had heard about the kid who got hurt in the 4th qtr. I said no, how bad was it ? and what happened. He said he didn't se but it took a while for him to get it together and be helped off the field. So no troll here , just looking for some info! Thanks

From your post guru you never asked anything. Troll thread for sure. Guru seems to just be trying to stir up drama where there is none there. A football player getting hurt is a non story. It happens every Friday night. This kid is no different than the rest so you should have never called his name out. Your a troll.
