Very deserving......now let's see if Wilkes county can keep a good coach or will he leave like most do.....head or assistant,coaches don't seem to stay if they are successful......there have been some good ones that come and go quickly......cmon boosters, help out to supplement a pathetic county supplement......or give the staff playoff pay for each week they advance.....lots of districts do it......it motivated me back in the day......it may bring me out of retirement if Wilkes does it......lotta good coaches live here coach outta county......great place to live,tough place to coach football

Coach Adkins is very deserving. His assistants, trainers, booster club, AD,and Principal all should get an award. I hope a trophy comes with it! Can't wait till this season......

Carolina Preps has named JK Adkins from East Wilkes their selection for 2015 1A coach of the year. I just want to say congrats to coach and his coaching staff. We are looking forward to what lies ahead.
