HDSG-----go ask a car worker in one of the race shop s if transmission, rearends , ford designs. Ask if ro7 engine has same cam,placement and firing order as a ford engine? Tell him to tell you the truth you really want to know. Don't tell them your a Chevy. ,till, after You ask and he tells you about it. If your So sure it's not true , go to race shop ask one of the workers who work on the cars.

Who really gives a crap. NASCAR sucks and Chevy is just running on government money. It would be nice if they could manage their company as good as NASCAR then maybe we wouldn't have to bail the pieces of crap out.

Bill s brother engine builder ported Cleveland heads different So heads flow better and quicker is why bills ford was outlining other Ford's so bad, even worse chevy drivers was whineing about rule changes. Don't forget the RO7 chevy engines are made like a ford engine , the distributor moved from back to front of engine, same firing order as a ford engine. Same cam placement as a ford, the ports in the heads are same as Ford heads. The Heads on a ls1 Camaro Will work on a 351 Windsor engine , and 351 heads Will work on a ls1 engine. The ls1 engine has same firing order as ford 351 Windsor engine . Funny how that works.

Yea, it helps when nascar puts restrictor plates on big blocks in 1970"s hurting ford & dodge worse so they were owning chevy on big tracks. Chevy wanted to run the small block 358 cubic inch so the plates were put on big blocks to cut horsepower to = the difference between the Smallblocks and big blocks. That a fact look it up. Then Bill elliott and ford got the 358 windsors to screaming and the new t- Bird body to fly. Nascar changed the rules on ford every week for about 5 to slow Bill down because he was embarrassing chevy bad on big tracks. Bill got faster with the rules changes. 1987 Bill set nascar speed record and Bobby flips in race and nascar changes rules and put restrictor plates on everybody.

Is anyone alse getting tired of watching chevy dominate nascar,Imaen every race this year chevy has by far been the fastest car,The outhers are having to short pit,take two or no tires late or use gas milage to beat'em.I understand chevy has been the dominateing car year in and year out every scence the 70's but this year its like there the only car out racing.
