HDSG06, its not a chase anymore, its a playoff. Big difference in the two.

I don't know how it will work out and I don't know if I'm a fan of it or not, I'll have to let it play out before I decide.

But, with that said, tell me how the nascar playoff is any different than other sports and their playoff system.

All other professional sports have playoffs, and lots of times, the supposedly best team doesn't win.

Same here with the nascar playoff, you must qualify for the playoff, just like in other sports. Once there, you have to advance, just like other sports.

I'm thinking what I'm not going to like is the 1 race among 4 drivers on the final day. You could see some intentional rubbing of the fenders.

I wonder if they should expand the playoff to 12 races instead of ten with the final four drivers determining the champion over the final 3 races.

it matches the f'ed up chase where one driver can win 9 chase races and finish 4th in points

Does anybody like this new way to qualify at these tracks? It just seems to f'd up for me.
