Well I guess during the defense of your title, you got tripped up a little. How is coach K doing with his little lying issue.

Wrong stupid. Duke is the defending champion till someone else wins the title.

You got TRIPPED up on that one a little. You are no longer the defending champion when you are at home watching the heels. You cant defend from home. You were last years champion. Kind of like yesterdays newspaper, who wants to read it.

unc has played absolutely no one in the tournament to get to the final four. They always get an easy draw.

And just remember DUKE although they are out is the defending champions.

Quack, quack, quack.....

My mistake. All that time I thought it was crickets chirping, it was actually an Oregon Duck quacking.

Quack, quack, quack

I was being a smart a-- I think it is the greatest rivalry in sports.

It is a rivalry. Carolina leads most of the metrics, though the K-infused success of the last 35 years has let Duke take the lead in ACC Tournament titles, while also tying for National Championships (that 1924 thing is nonsense by Carolina). Carolina has a better resume from the beginning of the rivalry, and has had tremendous success under multiple coaches. Duke has had a better run lately, but their most lasting success has come under K (though Foster and Bubas both had shorter runs of glory).

However, it is as close of a rivalry as you will find; in most other "rivalries" you will find one side that is actually pretty consistently superior (Alabama over Auburn, Michigan over Ohio State, USC over UCLA in football; Yankees over Red Sox in baseball, Cowboys over Redskins in NFL, and so on).

30 to 19. Where do people get the idea that this is a rivalry. Sounds a bit lop sided to me..

That was an outstanding game. I live the way Tiny Bennett maximizes the potential of his teams, and the way Caromina has stepped up, defensively especially, over the last couple of weeks has been a huge surprise. Both teams played sound, fundamental defense tonight. There were no hacks, flops, flailing limbs, heads snapped back, or trips. Just great defensive efforts from two very good teams. Nice win for Carolina. Both teams have a shot to make the Final Four.

Let's see how far this UNC team can go before they choke.

One thing can be said. Unlike Dook they didn't choke up a big lead against the Fightin' Irish in the ACC tourny.

Dook may even have a one and done in the NCAA's.

Since its an election year, instead of Lehigh or Mercer, maybe this year it will be the Electoral College that knocks them off.

Have you ever said something and later, after it comes back to bite ya, ya wished you hadn't?

The Heels will choke tonight, count on it.

Well it's about 2 1/2 weeks later and I see the Dookies are nowhere to be found, AGAIN!

Maybe they are in South Bend, Indiana sharing 5th place in the conference with the Irish. I guess Grayson couldn't find anyone to trip tonight, huh?

unc greatest ever
