Dozer....im a loyal EW fan. How i choose to brag on and support the Cardinals is my chose. Get off your soap box and enjoy this messageboard...Im an excited Cardinal fan....what you need to do..is stop acting like weve been used to winning when we havent..Im exuberent and happy and loud for these Cardinals in person...why would i let some snob like you change it...guess what....I wont let you...now we can agree to disagree..which is fine be me..and move on amicably....which is what i intend on doing...

When they give you the message board etiquette police title and a badge then you let me know. But until then..mind your business....and dont worry about how i represent the community....anyway this is a messageboard..which is up for debate...friendly banter and the ocassional braggadocia for anyone that chooses to. East Wilkes play does speak for itself that it does. However you nor anyone else on this sight will dictate how i post. Just read the friendly trash talk banter and take it with a grain of salt. Lol..Well Guru...this is fun. Just expect the Cardinals to have the last laugh. West will give a valiant effort. But this is the Cards year for this county. Including the JV program for this year. Its been a long time coming. We just need to keep it going.

I have to say Guru. Your 3 teams that you assumed were up to the task of finishing off the Cards have one thing in common. They were all pretty much shutdown in the second half. Might i say almost completely shutdown. No team has scored on East the entire season in the 3rd qtr at all. Coaches say and do what it takes to motivate the team. They always come out super focused on the 2nd half. They seem to play with very short memories of anything bad that happened before halftime. They are definitely a second half team that seems ok with bludgeoning you in the second half with methodical playcalling and precise execution and sustained drives. The defense seems to ratchet up a notch or two as well. It should be an excellent game. I know West has a few tough running backs and im sure their usual good sized line will be in place as well. But it may get ugly if East plays an entire game like they typically play the 2nd half. West may pose a few problems, but overcoming the speed and athleticism of Wilkes Central should more than prepare East for about anything that West may throw at them. Here's to the Cardinals completing their 1st 11 win undefeated regular season in school history. Should be a good game. I dont think complacency or getting up for this game will be a problem at all for the East Wilkes coaches, players, and fans.

Nice Guru...We do appreciate the props and recognition of the Cards. And yes you should definitely support those Blackhawks to the fullest. This isnt a trap game for East. Its another county rival. So with playoff seeding implications on the line, you may see the most focused Cardinal regime from Coaches down to players and even trainers. So, i see no let up. Will it be enough? We wont know until we lace em up. However, I wouldnt bet on Black. Good luck and prayers for a clean well played, injury free game.

shorty and topflight, I'm here and not going anywhere I promise you that!! First things first I will always give credit where credit is due.....so Congrats to East Wilkes on keeping the 0 in the loss column. I really didn't think you could pull it off but you did....somehow, so good for you.

Congratulations to east Wilkes on winning tonight vs central. That should wrap up an undefeated season and the sole conference championship. Something we only have dreams of here in Ashe. Must be nice to have a coaching staff that understands football and knows how to adjust things that aren't working at the half. Our staff only knows one thing and when it's not working we yell at the kids because it must be there fault because it can't be the coaching staffs fault. It's like Obamas second term.....more of the same!!

I'm looking forward to seeing how far East can go in the playoffs. We'll come watch you in the second round cause we will be done after the first round.

THE CARDIAC CARDINALS COMPLETE THE GAUNTLET OF THE SCHEDULE WITH ANOTHER COME FROM BEHIND VICTORY OVER WC TONIGHT....DOWN 21 7 AT THE HALF...AND THE BYNUM KID HAD ATLEAST 200 YDS AT THE HALF...CARDS GO IN AT THE HALF...REGROUPED AND AND WIN WITH A 25 YD FIELD GOAL WITH 0 SECONDS LEFT ON THE CLOCK.....WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!!!!!
