More incompetence I see. When your team's kicker is also your best offensive linemen, you have zero chance of running the football. Ashe County had no size or skill on the o-line and since the JV team was awful, Im not expecting that to be any different next year.

Sullivan would fair well at West. He is way more fitted for their program than at pass happy Ashe. Hopefully he is doing better and can continue to play hard for Ashe or West.

East Faired well against the other competition in the playoffs...with a 3 pt loss to the eventual western regional championship. So your sentiment doesnt hold that much weight colonel. Monroe is a great team..it has nothing to do with the MVAC...cuz if you were smart...Monroe and Shelby do that to about every team that they play. So you arent saying much.

Monroe would beat Ashe 10 out of 10 times no matter what offense the Huskies ran or who coached them. That's just basic common sense.

How has the 2-A side of the MVAC faired in the past few years...I seem to recall in 2014 some team called Monroe faced the Air Raid...I cannot for the life of me remember how that turned out......pondering...How did it turn out this year playoff wise???Good luck to all and just remember that when the great teams and leagues are called on the great roll up yonder that most will be standing there listening and listening and listening and listening and listening....shrugging

It seems to me that the "AIR RAID" got grounded. .Winning MVAC Championships is the equivalent to being the head chef at Burger King.a Sixth place team in some conferences could go undefeated in the MVAC.

You're right I did. That was probably the best the defense has played all year. If you think about it they only gave up three big plays all night. Which isn't bad. The Hampton/Piscapoe show couldn't keep up. They failed against Starmount and failed again last night. But I'm sure Hampton will be on the radio Monday praising his offensive players and defending his inability to call a running play aside from QB ISO!!! Just glad its over.

Well badguy now what do you say. Hampton's allergies to the running game cost us a loss last night. It is absolutely rediculous to go five wide from I side the five yd line. This offense is a joke. But it is Ashe county and we all know that as long as you know someone who knows someone you can get what you want. All I know is that we lost by 2 and we were inside the five yd line twice and didn't score and We missed three extra points. But most importantly missing a head coach cost us the game!!

If you can't figure it out by now last year is over, hahhaha this year is practically over and you are still living in the past. I said I was moving on to basketball, not to support this coach or wishing we had Payne (from the past again). I'm just looking fwd to watching my nephew play and get away from the football coaches (term used lightly).
