Justin Jackson, Joel berry if he lives up to hype. Meeks keeps improving and working on his fitness could be a good role player on a team. Paige is a good college player but to slow and to small for nba as a starter. Justin Jackson has a nice shot but will have to build muscle and get tougher. That's what I think being truthful . Unc had some stars from 1984- 2015 = jordan, Perkins, brad Daugherty, Kenny williams, Jerry Stackhouse, rasheed Wallace, Vince Carter. Some avg. To good players= j r Reid, Scott Williams, Montross, Rick fox, Jamison, haywood, Marvin Williams, felton, ty lawson, Danny green, Harrison Barnes that's a good lineup from 1984-2015

Well the lottery's been around since what? 1984 wasn't it?

Duke's had the most for what its worth....

Who will be your favorite teams next lottery pick?

I can't speak for everyone, but surely I'm not the only college basketball fan who roots for the ACC regardless of who it is in the championship game?

I almost lost my job in 1982 for missing work to root on NCSU.

I was on campus for both the 82 and 93 UNC games vs Georgetown and Michigan! Yelling as loud as anyone else.

Curry isn't leaving Golden State. He would be dumb to do so but you never know. Golden State is set to be very good for the next few years. Very well ran organization. Chris Paul will likely not play for the Hornets either. The dream scenario for Charlotte is an all-in recruiting effort to bring in Curry and Anthony Davis after 2016 in FA. Unlikely but definitely a goal or should be of the front office. It's going to take more than an all star point guard to push the Hornets as a a contender.

Curry & Chris Paul have said they want to play for hornets before they hang it up. Don't see it happening but would be great. Be first championship basketball team in state of north carolina history to win a major championship in basketball that pleases all fan bases. Wake , dook, state and unc fans all being happy and rooting for same team lol

Bosh is athletic, Frank isn't. Comparing Kemba to the point guards you listed is like saying Tom Brady and Jimmy Clausen are comparable because they are the same height. You made my point for me. Passing is a big part of the game for a PG and Kemba is horrible at it as I mentioned in my previous post. He doesn't know how to facilitate. He is good at creating his own shot but is very streaky and doesn't understand how to facilitate the offense. He would be a great 6th man but he doesn't fit the (as ridiculous as it is) identity Charlotte is trying to incorporate. Just my opinion. Thanks for the intelligent discussion

What do you mean Tom Brady and jimmy clausen, you said he was under sized and i stated that Spud Webb was undersized. Tom Brady and Jimmy Clausen statement is not anywhere close to my orginal intention. "Horrible" Kemba avg. 2 turnovers a game, Stephen Curry avg. 3 so if Kemba is horrible SC is the beyond bad. I do agree Kemba will never be a MVP nor a max-deal player but he can be 2-3 team all nba.

As I've mentioned already, I hate the NBA but I'll take a stab based on common sense and what I hear...

Aldridge: I think the Lakers, if not the Lakers then the Spurs.

Millsap: Resign with Hawks or back to Utah.

Green: Resign with Spurs or Cleveland.

Butler: Resign with Bulls

Deng: Lakers

Draymond Green: Absolutely no way the Warriors let go of their 3rd best player when he's also a bargain.

What big name free agents would you like the hornets to go for? Lamarcus. Aldridge , Paul millsap, Danny green, Jimmy butler, luol deng, draymond green. So on.

The dribble drive doesn't work in the NBA and there is a lot more to playing the PF position in the NBA than camping out on the perimeter and driving and kicking.

It seems to be working pretty well for Chris Bosh. Point Guards first job isn't to score it is to pass the ball, and what do you mean undersized Nate Robinson, Spud Webb, mugsy are undersized not Kemba walker. Richard Cho drafted Batum in portland so I wouldn't get rid of him out of the gate. I will agree with we should get rid of Jefferson while we can and get a 1st rd maybe 2nd also.

Kemba is an undersized point guard who can't shoot or facilitate an offense. MKG leaves a lot to be desired offensively but has tremendous ability and potential. The Batum trade looks good on the surface. However he is in the final year of his contract and I very seriously doubt he resigns here regardless of the season he has. Jefferson is a bum. He is a ball hog and a horrible defensive player. I hope the Kaminski pick pans out. He is skilled, but I doubt his skills translate to the NBA. The dribble drive doesn't work in the NBA and there is a lot more to playing the PF position in the NBA than camping out on the perimeter and driving and kicking. Hope I'm wrong but the team at this point looks worse than last season. Hope they score a lot because I don't see how the close games out when they have to rely on defense.

How about the new Buzz City jersey, i think they look better than the purple away jersey.

Horrible pick. The dude can't play defense and ultimately makes the Hornets front court a very prone defensive unit. He is/was a good college player but his game does not translate to the NBA. Winslow has a ridiculously high ceiling and you pass on him and I'm not a Duke fan. Yes the Hornets are loaded with wings but you cannot pass on a talent like Winslow. Jordan and Cho are inept. Cho said he was going to draft BPA and lied through his teeth. There is not a respectable analyst/scout/coach that would take Kaminski over Winslow. Might as well change the name back to the Bobcats if they are going to continue to put an embarrassing product on the floor. What a joke. Jefferson is garbage. Kemba is garbage. MKG is the only piece we have that is worthwhile.

Kemba is better than MKG by far, Big Al is past his prime, MKG is a great defender and thats about all he will ever be. No defensive player of the year awards maybe all NBA 2nd defensive team. Im hoping with the addition of Jeremy Lamb, Kemba Walker will do better with a collegiate alumni will bring his numbers up. Batum will be a ok 3-point shooter by far better than Hendo. With Frank the Tank at 4 and Big Al at the 5 will be a lot better than Al and Marvin Williams (hope they trade/release him). I think they should have taking Winslow also but MJ is the one with the power not us.

Well, yea, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to sports. Its my livelihood.

The Hornets could have gotten Kaminesky at 15, and possibly 20 so it was a terrible pick. They tried hard with several teams to trade down for that same reason but no one bit.

They should have taken Winslow at 9. Lot of teams will regret not taking Winslow, mark my word.

I like college ball better, but I like nba, nfl, mlb . The nba finals was good this year, even better seeing lebron lose lol. SPORTING GUY----- on the draft I give it to you, nailed it to tee. You need to play lottery, what do you think about frank the trank being a hornet? He can bang with bigs but also shot from mid range. If he can pull defense out with shooting and lamb& walker hit shots, it opens up big al Jefferson down low for alot of one on one's. So maybe good pick.

Sporting Guy

I still think the Hornets take Booker. He is the best shooter in the draft in my opinion. So glad they finally got rid of Henderson. He wasn't all that in college, was probably worse in the pros.

Townes is going first, if the Lakers trade for Cousins today then they won't draft Okafor. If this happens, they may grab Russell or possibly Winslow.

Philadelphia takes Russell. If he's not there then IDK what they'll do.

New York takes Okafor, if the Lakers don't. Otherwise probably Winslow.

Orlando takes Mudiay, Winslow, or that top foreign guy in my opinon.

I hate the NBA, just think how great college ball would be if the NBA didn't exist! Of course that ain't happening.
